Happy Monday !! Essential oils are the fragrant, highly concentrated natural constituents that are found in plants. They are what give the plant its characteristic odour and contain the healing power of the plant from which it was extracted. When used correctly, essential oils bring a wide range of health benefits since unlike modern drugs, they have no side-effects. But always consult a qualified Aromatherapist just to be safe. You got that ?

Can We Really HEAL our own Cavities?
Tooth decay, as researched by Dr. Weston Price and other dental pioneers, boiled down to three factors:
Not enough minerals in the diet.
Not enough fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) in the diet.
Nutrients not being readily bioavailable, and your intestinal system not properly absorbing them. The presence of phytic acid largely influences this factor.
Over a period of time, if your diet lacks vitamins and minerals from a poor diet and/or contains high levels of phytates (from grains, seeds, nuts, and legumes), the blood chemistry and the ratio of calcium and phosphorous become out of balance, which results in minerals being pulled from bones, causing tooth and bone loss.
So, the long-standing belief that sugar causes tooth decay is true, but as a result of it depleting nutrients from the body, not because bacteria eat it and produce acid that ruins your teeth.

Ramiel Nagel, in his book Cure Tooth Decay, examines common dental theories and thoroughly explains how these theories have failed us. He teaches us how certain special whole foods can make our teeth sound and resistant to decay. The author not only shows the reader how to prevent gum disease and tooth decay…but how to heal it once it has occurred. Nagel refutes the widely accepted idea that carbohydrates (such as sugar) sticking to the teeth.... is the prime cause of tooth decay. One of the main points the author shares with us is that it is not the food and bacteria in our mouths which cause tooth decay but it is instead…the condition or structure of our teeth which determines whether or not our teeth will become affected by tooth decay. The author stresses the point that diet is the key factor in preventing and curing many dental problems.

Organic Food Myths

Hey, it's Marco! Hmmm....I found this interesting! Remember, there's always two sides to every story! Sometimes even three or more... Organic food is more expensive than conventional food, due not only to its lower crop yields and more expensive organic fertilizers and pesticides in larger quantities, but mainly because it's such a big fad right now and is in such high demand.
Why is that? Is organic food healthier? Does it make an important political statement? The usual arguments boil down to three: that it benefits small farmers rather than big evil companies; that it's somehow healthier to eat; and that the cultivation method is better for the environment. Rather than accepting these emotionally satisfying benefits at face value, let's instead take a skeptical look and see what the data actually show.

CURIOSITY! GET SOME TODAY...
Hey, it's Marco! Curiosity is an important trait of a genius. I don’t think you can find an intellectual giant who is not a curious person. Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman, they are all curious characters. Richard Feynman was especially known for his adventures which came from his curiosity. But why is curiosity so important? Read on to find out...
