Curing Cavities Television Interview - - www.curetoothdecay.com

Ramiel Nagel, in his book Cure Tooth Decay, examines common dental theories and thoroughly explains how these theories have failed us. He teaches us how certain special whole foods can make our teeth sound and resistant to decay. The author not only shows the reader how to prevent gum disease and tooth decay…but how to heal it once it has occurred. Nagel refutes the widely accepted idea that carbohydrates (such as sugar) sticking to the teeth.... is the prime cause of tooth decay. One of the main points the author shares with us is that it is not the food and bacteria in our mouths which cause tooth decay but it is instead…the condition or structure of our teeth which determines whether or not our teeth will become affected by tooth decay. The author stresses the point that diet is the key factor in preventing and curing many dental problems.

Magnesium Deficiency: The Source of Most Modern Chronic Illness?

Hey, it's Marco! Magnesium is extremely necessary for your health as it is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Magnesium is fourth most available mineral in the body and is essential for a good and sound health. Roughly 50% of total body magnesium is stored in our bones. The remaining part of magnesium is predominantly found in the cells of body tissues and organs. Only 1% of magnesium is available in blood, however human body always strives strongly to keep constant blood levels of magnesium.

The Things We Eat...

Hey, it's Marco! Today we're going to take a collective look at all the conflicting warnings and exhortations we hear about what we should and shouldn't eat. It seems everyone has some pet theory that you shouldn't drink milk, or you have to eat organic, or you shouldn't eat "processed" foods, or you must only eat raw. There are always explanations for why this is: We didn't "evolve" to eat this or that; it isn't "natural" to eat something; our digestive systems weren't meant to handle a certain thing. I know what you're thinking: How is it possible to cover all those possible claims in a single "Skeptoid" episode? We're going to do it by stepping back from all of the specific claims and specific foods, way back. We're going to look at food as a whole, and study what it's made of, what those bits are, see what we need and what we don't. And then, with this as a foundation, we'll have the tools to effectively examine any given eating philosophy.

Dirt! The Movie Trailer

Hey, it's Marco! DIRT! the Movie is simply a movie about dirt. The real change lies in our notion of what dirt is. The movie teaches us: "When humans arrived 2 million years ago, everything changed for dirt. And from that moment on, the fate of dirt and humans has been intimately linked." But more than the film and the lessons that it teaches, DIRT the Movie is a call to action.

GOIN' BANANAS...FOR BANANAS!

Hey, it's Marco! Never put your banana in the refrigerator! Figure it out...Did you know bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with a little fiber. Bananas can also give you a nice little "Boost" of energy. Two of them can give you enough energy for an strenuous hour long workout. Bananas may also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet. They may also help with depression! "Take two of these and call me in the morning!" You see, bananas contain a protein called tryptophan which the body converts into serotonin which is known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel better. Got PMS? Eat a banana! Vitamin B6 regulates blood glucose levels, which may also affect your mood. Bananas are high in iron. Anemia anyone? Bananas are low in salt yet high in potassium making them the perfect food to beat high blood pressure. Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain, and regulates your body's water balance. When we're stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high potassium banana snack. They may even help with hangovers! Too bad I didn't know this back in the 80's! Bananas are rich in pectin, a soluble fiber that helps with regularity. Throw some frozen bananas in the blender with some fruit and make a nice fruit shake! Great anytime of year! I mix frozen bananas with Organic Artisana Coconut butter, half an avocado, a scoop of MRM Protein powder and some blueberries for breakfast. Good stuff, that is...if you don't have issues mixing fruit with protein and fat. And you can even use the peels to make cartoon characters fall down!   LOL!
So next time you're craving something sweet, grab a couple of bananas! Organic is always better!
And they're not that expensive. Why spend your hard earned money on doctor bills? Don't count the days, make the days count!
