Okay People, There is NO BABY CARROT Scare..
Marco here! Calm down all my fellow carrot eaters, yes there are rumors all over the internet warning that baby carrots are a "danger to your family," that they're made from "deformed full-sized carrots", and that they're "soaked in chlorine."
Not true. Here's the deal. Your carrots are washed in a chlorine-water solution, but it's a safe amount approved by the FDA. (and you know how we trust the FDA) but the solution is tiny and it's done for safety. We don't want any food-born illness like e-coli or salmonella growing in our bags.
Baby carrots come from regular carrots, not "deformed" ones. The carrots are then cut down to cocktail size and spun in machines that peel and rotate them to give them that nice rounded shape everyone likes.
Next, they're washed before being sealed into snack bags. The only reason the carrots get that nasty, old, white wrinkly look is because they're dehydrated. Go ahead, eat your baby carrots. Just make sure they're organic! Beats a bag of GMO chips!

Honeycrisp Apples

Hey, it's Marco! Apples are low in calories, portable, inexpensive and have health benefits.
Crispy and juicy Honeycrisp apples are eaten out-of-hand and can also be used for cooking.
Apples From Greek mythology, where Zeus and Hera were given a tree with golden apples by Mother Earth on their wedding day, to the discovery in 2000 AD of powerful anti-oxidants in apples, the fruit has played a role in health and history. Apples are one of America's most popular fruits and the U.S. Apple organization reports that there are about 2,500 varieties of apples grown in the United States and more than 7,000 grown worldwide.
Now, the BIG question! Are they GMO's? No! The honeycrisp is not the result of lab experiments, but is crossed the old fashioned way, by brushing the pollen of a Macoun flower against that of a Honeygold flower, by hand. This is an example of cross-pollination, a time honored technique for developing more desirable agricultural yields. Thus the honeycrisp is not considered a production of genetic engineering, which makes it appealing to many environmentalists. Even with a higher price tag, the honeycrisp apple is definitely worth a try. Grocers have a hard time keeping them in stock because they have proven so incredibly popular.

Does Fruit Really Make You Fat?
Hey, it's Marco! I must have missed that meeting! Some "fruit" out there with a Ph.D telling you what and when to eat. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having some fruit! Just don't eat food with watermelon, unless you want to taste last night's turkey leg! I've been eating fruit all of my life and I'm no where near being overweight, not even a little...I usually eat fruit by itself or after a run or post workout! Ok, I'm lyin'! While I do eat fruit by itself, I also blend it with anything and everything! Try some frozen bananas, some oatmeal, some walnuts, and peanut butter in a protein shake with a dash of stevia and cinnamon! (yeah, with this drink, I'll add a digestive enzyme/Life's short!) Now, there is a reason or two that you may want to consider not eating fruit, you know, if you have a nasty diet, you're too acidic, etc. but we'll save that post for later.

HOW TO START THE RAW FOOD DIET!
Hey,it's Marco! This past year, I've been eating more and more raw food! Why? Science proves that cooking our food not only destroys the nutrition and enzymes, but also chemically changes our food from the substances we need for health into free-radicals and poisons that eventually destroy our health. Ok, I'm not 100% raw, however, a large portion of our diet consist of Veggies, fruits, raw meat! (Just kidding!) Seriously, try it for a while! You're gonna look and feel better and have tons of energy! Absolutely, positively, guaranteed! And you may want to kick the microwave habit!
