Dear Human,

Someday you will die and leave this earth behind. But on all the others days you won't. So live them. Live them like the priceless gift they are. Live each new today with eyes wide open. See the beauty. Focus on the good. Feel the sun, snow, wind, rain and elements of your planet on your skin. Walk your feet upon earth's ground. Star gaze. Climb trees. Go for drives. Look at other peoples homes and say to yourself, "There are people living their lives in there." Be aware that every person in humanity is going through their own thing. Be thankful. See your blessings, not only your problems.

Someday you are going to die. True. But on all the other days you will not.

Cat Philosophy School by Dr. Wayne Dyer..

The was an old wise cat and a small kitten in an alleyway. The old cat saw the kitten chasing its tail and asked, “Why are you chasing your tail?”

To it the kitten replied, “I’ve been attending cat philosophy school and I have learned that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and that happiness is my tail. Therefore, I am chasing it: and when I catch it, I shall have happiness forever.”

Laughing, the wise old cat replied, “My son, I wasn’t lucky enough to go to school, but as I’ve gone through life, I too have realised that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and indeed that it is located in my tail.  The differece I’ve found though is that whenever I chase after it, it keeps running away from me, but when I go about my business and live my life, it just seems to follow after me wherever I go.”

IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU

A guy named Shane made this video. It is heart-wrenching and poignant in what it achieves.

Shane’s true love died, and what happened next is heart-breaking and, unfortunately, real.
In Shane’s words: “It has been said that sharing personal stories is one of the most effective ways to change people’s hearts and minds. This is my story and I hope you are inspired to share it with others.”

PS: I'm shocked that so many people can't understand human emotion but seem to know SO MUCH about 'God' & how gays are 'sinners'

Let's clear some things up:

1. Your sexuality is NOT a choice.

2. The idea of a 'God' was most likely though up by humans at some point in history. (but I still believe)
I am not a homosexual but it is obvious something needs to change, this is the 21st century there shouldn't be laws against love, I fully support your cause & I'm so sorry for the loss of Tom.

3. I thought marriage was about love..

WHIRLED PEAS! Try some today..

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches

“You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.”
― John Lennon

“An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

“Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.”
― George Carlin

“Peace begins with a smile..”

“When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.”
― Fred Rogers

“You have peace," the old woman said, "when you make it with yourself.”
― Mitch AlbomThe Five People You Meet in Heaven

“Why can't people just sit and read books and be nice to each other?”
― David BaldacciThe Camel Club

“World peace must develop from inner peace. Peace is not just mere absence of violence. Peace is, I think, the manifestation of human compassion.”
― Dalai Lama XIV

Peace isn’t something you ultimately receive when you slow down the pace of your life. Peace is what you’re capable of being and bringing to every encounter and event in the waking moments of your life. Being peaceful is an inner attitude that you can enjoy when you’ve learned to silence your incessant inner dialogue. Being peaceful isn’t dependent on what your surroundings look like. It seldom has anything to do with what the people around you think, say, or do. A noiseless environment isn’t a requirement.
St. Francis’s famous prayer states it better than I can: “Make me an instrument of your peace.” In other words, St. Francis wasn’t asking God to provide him with peace. He was asking for guidance to be more like the peace he trusted was his Source. Being peace is different fromlooking for peace.
This principle isn’t about merely choosing tranquil thoughts when you’re feeling frayed and anxious. I suggest picturing a container deep within yourself out of which all your thoughts flow. Inside of this container, at its very center, imagine a candle flame. You need to make a commitment that this flame in the center of the container holding all your thoughts will never, ever even flicker, although the very worst may go before you. This is your container of peace, and only peaceful thoughts can fuel the burning candle. You don’t need to change your thoughts as much as you need to learn to be an energy of peace lighting the way and attracting serene, harmonious thoughts and beings. In this way, you’ll become a being of peace.
As a being of peace, you make a huge impact on those around you. It’s almost impossible to be totally stressed out in the presence of someone who has opted to be peace. Peace is a higher and faster energy—when you’re being peace, just your presence alone will often nullify the uneasiness and tension in those around you. The secret of this principle is: Be the peace and harmony you desire. You cannot get it from anything or anyone else.

Remember, Be The Peace!

Make Love Daily

The one thing we all want more of in our lives is love. One of the most valuable personal development principles I was ever taught was: Don’t want what you want. That will only create more want.

Instead: Give what you want. That will ignite the process of creating it. What do you want?
Confidence? Bolster the confidence of someone else. Courage? Encourage to someone else.
Hope? Provide hope to someone else. Money? Give money to support someone/something else.
Belief? Instill belief in someone else. Love? Give love to someone else. Nuthin' wrong with that. Please read on...

HOW TO SIT IN A CHAIR AND DRINK TEA

Marco here. So simple. So profound...

Choose your leaves. Prepare your tea, then, slow down, like you’ve just turned off the highway into a quiet neighborhood. Normal rat-race speed is unsuitable for what we’re about to do. Hurrying through the process of relaxing defeats its purpose.

This experience is all about decelerating. Take a breath if you have to, or if you wish to.

You will now confront one of modern society’s ever-present dangers, which is the risk of distraction we face whenever nothing interesting happens for a few minutes. Your muscle memory will suggest something, maybe slipping your smartphone out, maybe leaning over the computer chair to surf Reddit, maybe straightening something on the counter. Worst of all, you may start talking to yourself in your head.

Stay where you are. You’re making tea. You may have the impulse might be to self-entertain. Opt instead to do something simple and self-contained, like stretching or looking out the window. If you’re game, just stand beside the stove. Let time just hang there, without making you feel like you should be somewhere else.

Whatever you end up doing for that two minutes, if you stay with it, your simple experience of standing or window-looking will seem to grow in intensity, until your whole world begins whistling and rattling.

Don’t rush here. A boiling kettle is not a crisis. To make sure you’re not reacting, watch it exhale steam for a few seconds. Observe how the world stays together. Let your pulse return to normal, then take it off.

Pour your water into the cup. Set the kettle aside. Heat off.

Find something to put your teabag or infuser on once the tea is fully steeped. A saucer or a napkin. Take this, and your cup, to your chair.

Walking with a scalding liquid is an act that summons the necessary mindfulness on its own. Watch your hands like they’re a movie. They will know what to do. Let the rest of you disappear.

GOD in the Box

God in the Box - GLOBAL SNEAK PEEK from God In The Box on Vimeo.

Imagine walking up to a large Box on a street corner. On the side it reads, "God In The Box." Inside the Box is a drawing tablet, a pencil and two questions: What does God look like to you? What does God mean to you? How would you answer?
God In The Box is a documentary that follows filmmaker Nathan Lang and his crew, as they travel the country, exploring the diverse and curious ways we see God, in our mind's eye -- through the lens of their amazing Box. But watch it now, God won't be around (free) for very long...

GIVE YOUR MARRIAGE A SECOND CHANCE. DIVORCE SUCKS!

Hey, it's Marco! Divorce, break-ups, separation...they all suck ass! I know. Being insecure and highly under educated, I blew a marriage years ago! I'm okay...She's fine, but the children suffer. Bring in a new spouse, new outlaws, er, inlaws and if the communication is not there, if agreements aren't met, when there is jealousy, anger, BIG EGOS, attorneys, fights over custody and child support, you'll have a recipe for disaster and everyone involved loses! What's better? To be right, or to be kind? Life is way too short for all the hate! The hate tends to compound, words are exchanged, (bad words) and life can be miserable for all parties involved! Let's just say that GOD came down to visit. How would everyone react or respond then? You think a little more LOVE might be involved? Absolutely! Then why I ask, can't people put their egos aside and spread the love? Where there is love, there is happiness! And where there is happiness, there is Family! Do yourself a favor, if you truly believe your marriage is worth saving, then by all means, please do everything you can to save your marriage! No one is perfect. Understand your spouse, walk in their shoes, remember, In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love - because it's happening TO YOU. People in love sometimes say, "I was swept off my feet." Think about the imagery of that expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU. Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. Try it again for the second time! And to all the Children of divorce out there, never let your outer world affect your inner world. Love Big! Love always! And most of all, BE LOVE! Lauren and Drake, I love you both so much. So much...
