Hey, Marco here. We all work, and realize that SLEEP is so vital to our health, yet so many people give it up to work at their jobs more. This is a study finding and it applies to just about all socioeconomic levels. Being a short sleeper wast correlated with having several jobs. The study's lead author, Dr. Mathias Basner, recommends several ways to combat this problem. One is to reduce the commute time, which was factored in the study. Another was more flexibility in work start times. Cutting back on working several jobs per single person would also help. At least seven hours are necessary for optimizing one's mental and physical productivity and output.
If you're struggling to shed a few pounds, ask yourself why you spend so much time on the job, which btw, can also be a fertile ground for over eating. Just a thought... Hugs !!
