Why Rejection Is A Good Lesson To Experience

Every now and again we all experience some form of rejection. Sometimes it is from our family members, a love relationship, friends, job, sales or just from society in general.

I feel rejection is a good lesson to have because it allows you the opportunity to re-evaluate your values and what you stand for. Will you cave in and give in to other people's opinion of you? Or will you stand firm in your self belief and convictions even as others reject you?

Most people cave in under pressure, and most of the time they walk away thinking they are not good enough and allow the rejections to pull them down.

So it is not surprising that fear of rejection is one of the biggest reasons why people are afraid to go into the sales industry. I think we all over identify with the act of rejection, we take it all too personally.

As predictable as life can be, there are only two ways of looking at things in the world, either in a positive or negative light.

If we see rejection as a bad thing and fear doing what we need to do, then we will never know and will forever be hiding from our highest potentials.

However if rejection is seen as a shaper of our potentials, it can really open up doorways for us in ways we might have never thought before.

Do what you have to, should do, want to as if it is the last day of your life, and you will see rejection in a different light.

Thank You Shamala Tan!

How to Control Anger Before It Destroys Your Future

“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his spirit than he that takes a city” King Solomon. Anger is destructive and is a destroyer of destinies. Many people have lost jobs, relationships, and opportunities, all because of anger. Also, some people are in prison houses, wasting their fruitful years simply because they did not control their anger. Anger is an emotion that must be controlled before it destroys your great future.
You need to understand that anger stems from selfishness, lack of wisdom and understanding. In Ecclesiastes 7:9, Solomon made it clear that anger rests in the bosom of fools. A man of wisdom and understanding will control his anger and overlook certain wrongs done to him. People get angry because they are considering themselves, how bad their pride or ego has been injured, how their time, energy or money was wasted, etc.
Does it mean you are never to be angry?

Anger! Grrr...

PHYSICAL FATIGUE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FATIGUE!

Hey, it's Marco! Clear your mind before you hit the gym! What goes on between the ears can affect how the rest of the body performs, suggests a new study on fatigue. Researchers found performance of a mentally fatiguing task prior to a difficult exercise test caused participants to reach exhaustion more quickly than when they did the same exercise when mentally rested.
The study suggests that people doing high-intensity training, such as competitive athletes, should do their training while mentally rested. However, people who exercise after work should continue doing so, even if mentally fatigued. Most people work out at a moderate intensity, which still gives plenty of physiological and psychological benefit, including relief from stress and improved mental performance.

IF IT WAS EASY, THEN EVERYONE WOULD DO IT!

Hey! It's Marco! This message is specially dedicated to anyone going thru any personal crisis! (Ellen?) If it was easy, everyone would be doing it! Quick question. Are you willing to give up what you want now in this moment for what you want most? Can you answer yes to this question? Again...It's not easy! But it is possible! It is possible! We all have obstacles and we all have our own personal challenges, trust me, I know. Most people can't do it. Most people won't do it! But you, you will! Why? Because every great champion does this! You must learn to build your commitment muscles! All you have to do is answer yes to this question. Will you give up the brownies and cheesecake to drop a couple of sizes? Will you give up a few hours of sleep to study for that big exam? Will you give up a night of television to spend more time with a loved one? YES! There is way too much negativity out there! People wanting to put you down. People wanting to see you fail! People making assumptions about the life they think you live. Avoid these people at all cost and learn to never take anything personal! There is never a need to be ego driven. Just accept these people and these things as the way it is. I know you can...but will you? That life you dream about is waiting! And you'll never see it without taking some kind of action! Please, don't quit! Most people give up to close to the finish line, to close to their dreams. Don't quit! Please, don't quit! And remember...Don't count the days, make the days count!

WHAT THE HECK IS "HUNA KANE?"

Hey, it's Marco! Huna Kane is a form of healing grounded in ancient Hawaiian Huna wisdom. Huna Kane incorporates massage as the therapist speaks to the body so that the body-mind connection can assist the body to recover from pain, trauma, illness, etc. It is like getting a massage and counselling session at the same time. It was originally practised on Hawaiian royalty, so that kings and queens could be fully clear prior to their coronation. That clarity enabled them to rule wisely and well, since they were free of emotional baggage. There is some evidence to indicate that it may be traced back to ancient Egypt as well. Breaking through the illusions that create false belief systems bridges the gap to new thought forms. Huna Kane is the "inner knowing of the Higher Self." It is a process of accessing inner wisdom creating more balance, peace and harmony in mind, body and spirit. Wow! Where do I sign up??
