FLUORIDE IN PROZAC! WHAT THA HELL??

Hey, it's Marco! First of all, it shall be stated that the 'substance' referred to as 'Fluoride' is a misnomer - there is no such substance listed in the periodic chart of the elements, nor in the prestigious CRC handbook, nor in the sacred 'bible' of the pharmaceutical industry - the illustrious 'Merck Index'. Instead, we find a GAS called Fluorine - and from the use of this gas in various industries such as aluminum manufacturing and the nuclear industry -certain toxic byproducts are created which have 'captured' fluorine molecules. One such toxic, poisonous 'byproduct' is called sodium Fluoride - which according to the Merck Index is primarily used as rat and cockroach poison and is also the active ingredient in most toothpastes and as an "additive to drinking water". But sadly, there is much more to this sordid tale.

The Dangers of Fluoride & Water Fluoridation

Since the 1940's fluoride is used in toothpaste and is added to drinking water in many countries around the world. The dental profession claims that fluoride is safe and necessary for good dental health. Hmm... Don't bother me with the facts, I've already made up my mind that fluoride is awesome!

WHY IS THERE A "WARNING" LABEL ON YOUR TOOTHPASTE?

"WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek PROFESSIONAL HELP or contact a POISON CONTROL center immediately."

Hey, it's Marco! If you haven't read the back of your toothpaste label lately, you're in for a shock! If the words "professional help" and "poison control center" don't grab your attention, they should. Since mid-1997, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has mandated all toothpastes containing FLUORIDE to carry this warning. And for good reason. I'm callin' my Dentist! That lyin' basta....

If you don't make your own, use this instead, it's much better than the Big Toothpaste brands. However, it still contains sodium benzoate and titanium dioxide... Yeah, yeah, I know...In a perfect world...

WHAT IS FLUORIDE? REALLY?

Hey, it's Marco! So I checked the boxes of several of the top selling toothpastes...They all have WARNING Labels. Hmmm. What "could" this mean? And why do I need to call a Poison Control Center if I swallow more than a pea sized amount? It's not like I'm brushing my teeth when I'm drunk, but still...Isn't any substance that I place in my mouth absorbed into my system? There's no warning label on the toothpaste that I use...
