Why Rejection Is A Good Lesson To Experience

Every now and again we all experience some form of rejection. Sometimes it is from our family members, a love relationship, friends, job, sales or just from society in general.

I feel rejection is a good lesson to have because it allows you the opportunity to re-evaluate your values and what you stand for. Will you cave in and give in to other people's opinion of you? Or will you stand firm in your self belief and convictions even as others reject you?

Most people cave in under pressure, and most of the time they walk away thinking they are not good enough and allow the rejections to pull them down.

So it is not surprising that fear of rejection is one of the biggest reasons why people are afraid to go into the sales industry. I think we all over identify with the act of rejection, we take it all too personally.

As predictable as life can be, there are only two ways of looking at things in the world, either in a positive or negative light.

If we see rejection as a bad thing and fear doing what we need to do, then we will never know and will forever be hiding from our highest potentials.

However if rejection is seen as a shaper of our potentials, it can really open up doorways for us in ways we might have never thought before.

Do what you have to, should do, want to as if it is the last day of your life, and you will see rejection in a different light.

This is so Awesome. Make your own Nutella! Yayyyy!

Here's what you'll need: 
Ingredients: (Oh yeah, makes about a cup)

1 cup hazelnuts, soaked for 8-10 hours
1/4 cup organic maple syrup
1 tsp organic vanilla extract
1/4 tsp celtic sea salt
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
2-4 tbsp organic coconut milk
Drain and rinse hazelnuts and place in food processor or high-powered blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Depending on the strength of your blender, this may take 10-15 minutes to get the desired consistency.
Once the hazelnuts turn into a buttery consistency, add the sweetener, vanilla, salt, and cacao powder and blend until smooth. Slowly add the milk until desired consistency. Then spread it on your toasty buns! Budda (butter) optional. Yummy yummy in my tummy, Mummy!

Peace isn’t something you ultimately receive when you slow down the pace of your life. Peace is what you’re capable of being and bringing to every encounter and event in the waking moments of your life. Being peaceful is an inner attitude that you can enjoy when you’ve learned to silence your incessant inner dialogue. Being peaceful isn’t dependent on what your surroundings look like. It seldom has anything to do with what the people around you think, say, or do. A noiseless environment isn’t a requirement.
St. Francis’s famous prayer states it better than I can: “Make me an instrument of your peace.” In other words, St. Francis wasn’t asking God to provide him with peace. He was asking for guidance to be more like the peace he trusted was his Source. Being peace is different fromlooking for peace.
This principle isn’t about merely choosing tranquil thoughts when you’re feeling frayed and anxious. I suggest picturing a container deep within yourself out of which all your thoughts flow. Inside of this container, at its very center, imagine a candle flame. You need to make a commitment that this flame in the center of the container holding all your thoughts will never, ever even flicker, although the very worst may go before you. This is your container of peace, and only peaceful thoughts can fuel the burning candle. You don’t need to change your thoughts as much as you need to learn to be an energy of peace lighting the way and attracting serene, harmonious thoughts and beings. In this way, you’ll become a being of peace.
As a being of peace, you make a huge impact on those around you. It’s almost impossible to be totally stressed out in the presence of someone who has opted to be peace. Peace is a higher and faster energy—when you’re being peace, just your presence alone will often nullify the uneasiness and tension in those around you. The secret of this principle is: Be the peace and harmony you desire. You cannot get it from anything or anyone else.

Not only bees are being killed by nerve poisoning pesticides, but birds are also disappearing. A report by the American Bird Conservancy has produced a devasting report outlining the disaster being wrought by neonicotinoids, neurotoxic pesticides, on birds.

They'll stay that way through the winter, until the sun comes out again in full force. He may not have the mainstream name recognition or rock-star appeal of, say, Mehmet Oz (though he has twice been a guest on The Dr. Oz Show). But Mercola’s influence is nonetheless considerable. Each month, nearly two million people click to see the osteopathic physician’s latest musings on the wonders of dietary supplements and minerals (“The 13 Amazing Health Benefits of Himalayan Crystal Salt”), the marvels of alternative therapies (“Learn How Homeopathy Cured a Boy of Autism”), and his take on medical research, from vaccines (“Your Flu Shot Contains a Dangerous Neurotoxin”) to vitamin D (“The Silver Bullet for Cancer?”).Visitors to his site are also treated to heavy doses of the contempt Mercola holds for most things traditional medicine and Big Pharma—the “medical-industrial complex,” he calls it. Many followers are almost evangelical in their support of his message. “If only the world had more Dr. Mercolas!” wrote one in the comments section for “The Thugs of the Medical World,” a Mercola.com article about drug companies. “You are a warrior sir, and your tireless, truthful, and fearless efforts to expose these criminals is much appreciated.” Not surprisingly, the medical establishment sees things differently. Some researchers and doctors say that Mercola steers patients away from proven treatments and peddles pseudoscientific misinformation on topics such as flu shots and fluoridation. In their view, he is resurrecting old myths, such as the threat posed by mercury in dental fillings, and promoting new ones, such as the notion that microwave ovens emit harmful radiation. “The information he’s putting out to the public is extremely misleading and potentially very dangerous,” opines Dr. Stephen Barrett, who runs the medical watchdog site Quackwatch.org. “He exaggerates the risks and potential dangers of legitimate science-based medical care, and he promotes a lot of unsubstantiated ideas and sells [certain] products with claims that are misleading.” Read on... you decide. 4 tbs ground flax seed
6-8 scoops Life Time, Life's Basics Plant Protein Powder, with Greens
½ cup almond butter
½ cup coconut oil (melted)
½ cup water
4 tbs dark chocolate chunks
½ cup dried blueberries

Mix everything together except the chocolate chunks. This will work best if you add and mix one ingredient at a time. It’s very sticky. Line a 9 x 13 pan with foil or wax paper. I like the wax paper best. Add mixed ingredients to the pan, spread. Melt the chocolate chunks in a pan and add a little water as you go so it stays creamy and doesn’t harden. Spread the chocolate over the spread and freeze for at least 2 hours. Thaw for 5 minutes, cut into bars. Enjoy.
