Hey Mommy! Fever is Your Friend!

Hey Howdy Hey, Marco here! Do you run for the tylenol or motrin when fever comes calling? Why? Are you seriously afraid of "the burn?" Fever is not a bad word. It is your friend.

In fact, it’s the mechanism that the body has intuitively designed to cook off illnesses such as the flu, colds, ear infections and the like. And it serves an important purpose because it is the body’s way of curing the illness. Did you hear me? Fever is the body’s way to rid us of illness. Then why eradicate the cure by administering a synthetic drug, such as Tylenol, aspirin and the like? Certainly, we don’t want our child to suffer needlessly, but by employing meds to suppress a fever, we’re chemically forcing the body to stop treating itself with its natural promise of resolution.

EVER HAD OLIVE LEAF TEA?

Olive branch in hand of lab worker graphic

Olive Leaf Tea, a natural herbal antibiotic and antioxidant that can help or prevent many diseases. The active compounds Oleuropein and Eleonic Acid in Olive leaf tea have been reported to act as an Antimicrobial agent, which slows invaders enough for the body's natural immune system to react. The result is a natural antibiotic and antioxidant with similar effects to garlic and onions. Olive leaf tea can be enjoyed regularly as a preventative or used directly to combat ailments. Oh, how does it taste? Like olives...

Olive Leaves Just As Effective As Drugs In Lowering Blood Pressure, And They're Natural

Hey, it's Marco! I know you didn't know this! Olive leaf extract is just as effective in lowering blood pressure as other common medical treatments for hypertension, according to a new clinical trial sponsored by Frutarom and Dexa Medica.
The study, published in Phytomedicine, found an olive leaf extract (EFLA 943 from Frutarom, Switzerland) to be as effective in treating high-blood pressure as a common medication blood pressure medication (Captopril/Dexacap from Dexa Medica).
The researchers also found that unlike the drug, olive leaf extract also significantly reduced plasma triglyceride levels. Take that Big Pharma!

What? Herbs don't work? Really?

Hey, it's Marco and yes, even yours truly gets sneezy and queezy sometimes. Such is life! Damn that Jack Daniels! I mean, uhm, stress, new baby, people, and well just me being me and living in my world! "I don always get seek, but wheen I do..." (LOL) What do I reach for? The Phone! So I can call my Doctor who will give me DRUGS! No, really, I reach for herbs! A little Olive Leaf, some Oil of Oregano, a scoop or two of of some Macro Greens with cayenne and apple cider vinegar! Some quiet time and most importantly...REST! I keep some Dandelion handy and always a great liver tonic that I purchase from the great Christopher Gussa from Plant Cures! More on him later! Herbs work! You ever try weed? That's what I thought, not that I would ever do something illegal! However, what works for me, may not work for you. However, to say that herbs will not work and are a waste of money and time is just a lie! Click below and read this information from Dr. Jonathan Wright of Harvard University. You decide! And remember, don't count the days, make the days count!
