Have I Been Breathing Wrong My Entire Life? Let's Find out..

While breathing 2-3 times more than the medical norm, most people believe that they have good or normal breathing. Some of them even say that they are "barely breathing". But normal breathing is so tiny that healthy people experience nearly no sensations in relation to their breathing at rest.

Over 90% of modern people suffer from breathing problems. The common problems include chest breathing, mouth breathing, and hyperventilation (increased minute ventilation), all of which reduce oxygen levels in body cells and promote chronic diseases.

Olive Leaves Just As Effective As Drugs In Lowering Blood Pressure, And They're Natural

Hey, it's Marco! I know you didn't know this! Olive leaf extract is just as effective in lowering blood pressure as other common medical treatments for hypertension, according to a new clinical trial sponsored by Frutarom and Dexa Medica.
The study, published in Phytomedicine, found an olive leaf extract (EFLA 943 from Frutarom, Switzerland) to be as effective in treating high-blood pressure as a common medication blood pressure medication (Captopril/Dexacap from Dexa Medica).
The researchers also found that unlike the drug, olive leaf extract also significantly reduced plasma triglyceride levels. Take that Big Pharma!

Eat Cereal for Blood Pressure?? What's next?

Hey, it's Marco! Here's a study only Cap'n Crunch could love: Researchers claim gobbling down bowl after bowl of cereal can help keep hypertension away. Sounds more like a cereal commercial than a study -- but researchers say their analysis of data on 13,368 male doctors who were tracked for more than 16 years found those who ate seven bowls of whole grain cereal a week had a 19 percent lower risk of hypertension than those who didn't. Docs who crunched and munched their way through between two and six bowls a week lowered their risk by 12 percent. But don't bother asking the real questions, like whether cereal eaters lived longer, had fewer chronic diseases, or better overall health -- because you won't find the answers in this study. Instead, you'll find researchers saying with a straight face that the benefits came from "whole grain" cereals rather than "refined" stuff. PUH-leaze... as if there's a difference.
Froot Loops, for example, now claims to be made with whole grains... and while this stuff is pure garbage no matter what grains they use, it actually has LESS sugar per cup than some of the whole grain organic granola cereals that are supposed to be so good for you. Forget the cereal, I'm more fascinated by something else in this study: There were 13,368 participants, and all of them were doctors. Over 16 years, 7,267 of them developed hypertension -- or 55 percent of them. These are seasoned medical professionals who probably give patients advice all day long about how to avoid high blood pressure... yet somehow, they couldn't avoid a hypertension diagnosis themselves? It's the surest sign yet that it's an overblown, overdiagnosed, and overtreated condition -- and no cereal in the world is going to change that. And a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Dr. William Douglas!

GOIN' BANANAS...FOR BANANAS!

Hey, it's Marco! Never put your banana in the refrigerator! Figure it out...Did you know bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with a little fiber. Bananas can also give you a nice little "Boost" of energy. Two of them can give you enough energy for an strenuous hour long workout. Bananas may also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet. They may also help with depression! "Take two of these and call me in the morning!" You see, bananas contain a protein called tryptophan which the body converts into serotonin which is known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel better. Got PMS? Eat a banana! Vitamin B6 regulates blood glucose levels, which may also affect your mood. Bananas are high in iron. Anemia anyone? Bananas are low in salt yet high in potassium making them the perfect food to beat high blood pressure. Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain, and regulates your body's water balance. When we're stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high potassium banana snack. They may even help with hangovers! Too bad I didn't know this back in the 80's! Bananas are rich in pectin, a soluble fiber that helps with regularity. Throw some frozen bananas in the blender with some fruit and make a nice fruit shake! Great anytime of year! I mix frozen bananas with Organic Artisana Coconut butter, half an avocado, a scoop of MRM Protein powder and some blueberries for breakfast. Good stuff, that is...if you don't have issues mixing fruit with protein and fat. And you can even use the peels to make cartoon characters fall down!   LOL!
So next time you're craving something sweet, grab a couple of bananas! Organic is always better!
And they're not that expensive. Why spend your hard earned money on doctor bills? Don't count the days, make the days count!
