Hey, it's Marco! Despite frequent references to it there is in fact no such thing as “herd immunity.” If vaccines worked, the vaccinated would be at NO risk from those who choose to forgo any particular assault on their immune systems. It is not the unvaccinated who are a threat to the vaccinated, however as some of the vaccinated shed infective viral particles, it is the vaccinated who are a threat to the vaccine free! And why is it that the vaccinated children at school keep getting sick? Sore throats, flu, fever, strep throat, ear aches, chicken pox, snotty noses, diarrhea...shall I continue? Whatever! What do I know? If you can't keep your child well..and remember, don't count the days, make the days count! =)
