Hospital food is almost unpalatable and from the perspective of nutrient density and optimal nourishment of which patients require the highest levels, the food in these care facilities could be considered equivalent to, if not worse than soup kitchens for the needy. What type of tasty little morsel may one expect from their good ole local hospital? Crap. Pure crap. All hospitals generally serve GMO corn, GMO soy, GMO zucchini/squash, foods made primarily with GMO Canola oil, as well as factory farmed meat and eggs from antibiotic, vaccinated and medicated animals. There are absolutely no precautions taken on harmful oils, preservatives, artificial flavors/sweeteners, sugars, colors or toxic emulsifiers that make up binding agents and sauces. If there was any nutritional value left in these foods, they are overcooked so that any remaining nutrients are eliminated. The result is slop. Not just any ole slop, but pure, tasteless, but salty SLOP! Read on my fellow quacks...

Why do you eat? I know why I do. I love food! And lots of it. That's real food of course. Veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds, home made smoothies, the occasional grass fed burger. Give me some organic french fries to dip in organic vanilla ice cream and I'm a happy camper! However, if you're eating for comfort or eating because you're bored, you're a headed for trouble. Marco here... Think about this for yourself. How many times in life do you pass the people who help you out the most? The people who come out of the far corners of your life just when you need them the most and pack your parachutes for you? The people who go the extra mile, the people who don’t look for the kudos or the accolades or the achievement medal or even the bonus check—the folks who are just out there packing parachutes?
So here’s what I want to challenge you to do. Look around your organization for the people who might not be the ‘Top Guns’ of your organization, the loud and brazen leaders, but the ones who support the system that enables the Top Guns to fly. And if something goes wrong it will be because they did their job that no one gets hurt or a customer doesn’t go neglected.
This week find 5 parachute packers in your organization and tell them how much you appreciate them and how important are the things they do for the organization. Because, in the end, it might just be them who save your life or your business, or at least save the day.

1. Eat More Bitter Foods. We're all born with an aversion to bitterness, but our levels of sensitivity vary greatly. Some kids will eat broccoli from the get-go. It may taste one-third as bitter to them as it does to the child who tests your very last nerve at the dinner table. You can usually tell who is the tolerant taster (that is, the one with the less sensitive palate) and who is the hypertaster ("I only eat white foods"), but you can coach and nurture them both into being open-minded eaters.
One study found that only 5% to 8% of the calories we eat are bitter. But the compounds that make foods taste bitter (carotenoids in sweet potatoes and spinach, flavonoids in cranberries and kale, polyphenols in wine) also make them good for us. Consider the initial taste shock of bitter foods such as cranberries, cocoa and kale to be positive, rather than negative. Bitter = healthful.
2. Try Something New. At a restaurant, order something you would never cook at home. Instead of recoiling at the smell of something foreign and pungent, get to know it better. I used to abhor the very smell of canned tuna. That was before I landed a canned-tuna client and had to taste it every week for four years. These days I'm an aficionado of good (healthy) tuna.

Compromise. That’s what it’s all about, eh? We are taught from early on that the only way to get along is to go along. Meet halfway, in the middle. Don’t be such a stickler. Nothing is so sacred or important that it cannot stand a little compromise.
And just were has this type of thinking gotten us? Just how willing should we be to compromise and lay our values down on the altar of coexistence?
Just how much compromise do we have to accept to feel that it is okay to allow others to put poison in our food, to spray poisons on the land that we are supposed to be stewards of, to poison our animals that trust us to take care of them, to drop poisons from the sky, to put poisons in pills and vaccines that we are ordered to get if we want to keep subsistence jobs working for people who would rather see us dead than alive because we are just a statistic and replaceable, and to poison our very water supply?
We are dying, and it’s our own fault. We are compromising our way into extinction with only ourselves to blame. But it’s okay if we keep believing the lies. If we keep hiding our heads in the sand and accepting the falsehoods that make us feel good, eh?
We love the lies that make us feel like we are all powerful and in control of our pitiful existence. Yes, pitiful. Just how pitiful is it when poisons are sold next to healthy foods and we have to guess which is which, all under the banner of “choice” and “free will?” You tell me, because, quite frankly, I’ve had just about enough of it. I want truth. I want uncompromising truth, no matter how much it hurts. Read on health nuts!
For generations, the people of Tibet have used natural methods to correct visual weakness and improve their eyesight. Chief among the methods employed has been the use of certain exercises which have proved useful over long periods of time.
The figure on this eye chart was designed by Tibetan Lama Monks to give the necessary corrective exercises and stimulation to the muscles and nerves of the optical system. The eye muscles focus similar to a camera shutter. The purpose of these exercises is to strengthen the eye muscles to improve vision. A few minutes practice morning and evening will bring immediate effects and over a period of months a most definite improvement will result.
How to Use the Eye Chart
These exercises are to be done without eyeglasses or contacts. Do each movement for 30 seconds while in a sitting position, spine straight and do not move the head side to side. Move only the eyes.
1.) With the palm of each hand cup both closed eyes to relax them.
2.) Move the eyes clockwise around the outer circle of dots
3.) Repeat this movement in a counterclockwise rotation
4.) Move the eyes back and forth between the dots at 2 and 8 o’clock
5.) Repeat this movement back and forth between dots at 4 and 10 o’clock
6.) Blink the eyes briefly and finish therapy with the palming same as exercise #1
Repeat exercises as desired being careful to avoid strain. After beginning therapy wear eyeglasses and contacts as little as possible. In time these crutches will become unnecessary.

For many thousands of years, our ancestors defecated wherever they wanted; a bit like horses or dogs in this respect. If the pooper sought privacy, all he or she had to do was find a shielding bush (preferably one without thorns) and "pop a squat."
It's not the devil-may-care aspect of defecation that we should return to, of course. Modern sanitation and sewer systems have been an undeniable boon to the health of mankind. We should, however, return to the squatting position.
The body... relies on a bend between the rectum--where feces builds up--and the anus--where feces comes out. When we're standing up, the extent of this bend, called the anorectal angle, is about 90 degrees, which puts upward pressure on the rectum and keeps feces inside.
In a squatting posture, the bend straightens out, like a kink ringed out of a garden hose, and defecation becomes easier, or so I'm told...
