Hey, it's Marco! Ghosts and goblins aren’t the only scary things lurking around the corner. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) can be found on any and every conventional grocery store shelf. What are GMOs? Are you sure you’re ready for this? Basically, it’s DNA from one species injected into another species in a laboratory to create combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes which do not occur naturally in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. I don’t know about you but this gives me the heebie jeebies. And people eat them! GMOs are banned in countries around the world because they have not been proven to be safe. Hell, the animals won't even eat them! On the other hand, in the U.S. the FDA (Friggin' Dumb Asses!) has approved the produced of GMOs because they have not been proven to be unsafe. So the long-term health effects are still unknown but this is alien foods we’re talking about. Think about it. Do you want to eat alien foods? Didn't think so...but you are! And if you're feeding your new baby Enfamil or Similac, they're drinkin' them too!
