YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT YOU'RE NOT MOVING ENOUGH!!

Hey, it's Marco! You know how many muscles you have in your body? And you're sittin' on your ass! No wonder you're fat, tired and outta shape! Go! Be! Do! Exercise! Put your body in motion and the emotion will follow! "Use it right or lose it". There is no one single right way to move, but if you let muscles and joints stop moving, over time the overall body loses the ability to move. If you want to move well when you are old, you must keep your body moving well as you age. Life is motion. When we stop moving, we stop living, which is why staying active is the number one desire of people as they age. When you talk to healthy people over 80, they will almost unanimously say their secret is "keeping active." Motion is vital for health and aging well. Watch a normal child move. Youth is moving freely and with control. Watch someone who's sick move: they are stiff and consequently may be described as "looking old." Come on... You know how much a good cane cost these days! ($$) People’s bodies are designed to walk and move. Unfortunately, in the 21st century people spend much (if not most) of their lives sitting. We drive to work seated, to sit at a computer, then sit down to lunch, and sit to drive home and sit on the couch and read or watch TV. The result is a body conditioned to sitting. Many people spend the majority of their life sitting with their torso folded and not moving. Sitting uses some muscles too much and some too little. The overused muscles become too tight, the underused ones too weak, and the joints become stiff from inactivity. Years of inactivity result in the weakening of the body, and balance gets worse. If you don’t move your body fully and symmetrically in your daily life, over time things adapt and change. Muscles atrophy, joints stiffen and develop arthritis, discs degenerate, and you become and feel old. We're much too young for this type of lifestyle... Wouldn't you agree? So get moving!
Move!
Muscles!
