Hey, it's Marco! Can you do 100 Chins? Really? You can't? What a waste? What's wrong with you? Anyone should be able to crank out at least 100, right? No worries... I can barely knock out 15! And that's on a good day! Ah, life! Tends to get in the way sometimes...add in work, children, gotta eat, sleep, play...and most importantly: READ! Gotta read! Exercise the brain! Anyway, I figure rather than get fat over the coming Holidays, I'm going to see if I can't get to 100 pull ups by the end of the year! NOT! Here's my strategy which I'll add to my meager workouts: You never know what you can do until you try! Oh yeah, I bought one of those $19.99 pull up bars from Walmart. (It was midnight, and they were the only place open!) No tools necessary to hang from the door jam btw...Will probably do this at least 5 days a week and see what happens by week six!
Week #1 100 Chin-Ups performed in 35 minutes (yeah right! two hours?)
Week #2 100 Chin-Ups performed in 32 minutes
Week #3 100 Chin-Ups performed in 28 minutes
Week #4 100 Chin-Ups performed in 25 minutes
Week #5 100 Chin-Ups performed in 23 minutes
Week #6 100 Chin-Ups performed in 20 minutes
Give it a try! Remember, it's the start that stops most people!
